Appeals Crt. OK's Insurance Cos.' Antitrust Suit

Law360 (February 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals court has cleared the way for four insurance companies to move forward with an antitrust suit that accuses Michigan county registers of forcing the insurers to agree to a no-resale condition before they could obtain duplicate copies of title deeds.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth District on Thursday reversed a lower court’s decision to dismiss the Sherman Act claims against all of the registers, except for one.
