US Moves To Compel Zurich To Testify In Presidio Case

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 2:30 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government has asked a federal judge to end alleged foot-dragging by Zurich Insurance Co. and order witnesses to testify at deposition in the case over who will pay for pollution at a national park in San Francisco.

Zurich has not fully cooperated with the government's request that it serve up four witnesses and a representative for a subsidiary at deposition, the government said in a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
