McGuireWoods Beats Client's Legal Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 1:54 PM EDT) -- A Virginia appeals court has upheld a ruling favoring McGuireWoods LLP, which was sued by former client Wintergreen Partners Inc., for allegedly causing the company to lose an $8.3 million personal injury case.

According to an opinion from the Virginia Supreme Court handed down Thursday, a lower court judge did not err in granting summary judgment to McGuireWoods in the legal malpractice case.
