Russo, whom federal prosecutors accuse of participating in numerous bribery schemes during his tenure as Cuyahoga County auditor, entered a guilty plea Thursday, marking the latest fallout from a public corruption probe that has led to the indictments of an Ohio county commissioner and two judges.
Russo's plea agreement was entered in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio a week after a 21-count information was lodged against him.
