Siliconix Sues Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Over Patents

Law360, New York (October 29, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Vishay Intertechnology subsidiary Siliconix filed a lawsuit against Alpha and Omega Semiconductor in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging patent infringement, Siliconix said in a statement.

Siliconix claims that some A&O products infringe two Siliconix patents that relate generally to power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor ("MOSFET") products used in computers, cellular phones, fixed communications networks, automobiles, and other electronics systems.
