Frustrated Pilots Sue US Airways

Law360, New York (March 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- US Airways and America West pilots filed a lawsuit Thursday against the merged airline, claiming they are trying to circumvent a transition agreement by taking steps to further unite their operations.

The Air Line Pilots Association, Internationals’ lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, was triggered by US Airways Group Inc.’s announcement that it will eliminate a code designated to America West and replace it with its own code.
