Crestron Illegally Cornered Controller Market, Suit Says

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 6:41 PM EDT) -- Crestron Electronics Inc. has been hit with a suit by a competitor alleging it cornered the market for programmable controllers used in home automation by blocking dealers from selling rival products.

Savant Systems LLC filed suit Wednesday against Crestron in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleging that Crestron has sought to delay or preclude its entry into the automation market through a host of unlawful practices.
