ITC To Probe Imported Marine Autopilots

Law360, New York (September 23, 2010, 1:18 PM EDT) -- U.S. trade regulators have agreed to investigate American GNC Corp.'s claims that several companies — including Furuno Electronics Co. Ltd., Navico Holding AS and Flir Systems Inc. — have imported marine autopilots and components that infringe one of its patents.

The U.S. International Trade Commission on Wednesday announced it had voted to initiate the probe in response to Simi Valley, Calif.-based American GNC's complaint, filed Aug. 26.
