Enviro Calls Out EPA On Overdue BP Plant Decision

Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 3:05 PM EDT) -- WildEarth Guardians has taken the U.S. Environmental Agency to court to force it to make a decision on whether BP PLC’s coalbed methane processing plant in southwestern Colorado violates emissions limits under the Clean Air Act.

The environmental group filed suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, alleging the agency has failed to take action on BP’s application for an operating permit within the required 18-month time frame.
