NCR Sues Intellisync Over Synchronization Technology

Law360, New York (August 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- NCR Corp. has sued Intellisync Corp. for patent infringement, alleging that the software maker infringes a patent for synchronizing databases between personal digital assistants and host computers.

In a statement released Friday, Intellisync, a synchronization software company, said it had reviewed the three patents at issue and believes it doesn't infringe on any of them.

Neither NCR nor Intellisync would offer further comment on the lawsuit suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division.
