Dell, AIT Reach Truce In Suit Over Faulty PCs

Law360, New York (September 27, 2010, 4:24 PM EDT) -- Advanced Internet Technologies Inc. has settled its suit accusing Dell Inc. of selling the Web services provider faulty OptiPlex computers, bringing an abrupt end to almost three years of litigation and a contentious discovery battle.

Magistrate Judge David W. Daniel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina on Friday ordered AIT and Dell to file settlement papers, following a court-ordered settlement conference the day before.
