Portland Diocese Gag Order To Remain In Place

Law360 (March 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Less than three months after brokering a deal between the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Portland and alleged victims of sexual abuse, a federal bankruptcy judge has tossed a bid to lift a gag order that prevents public discussion of the details surrounding the diocese’s Chapter 11 proceedings.
