Boston Sci Accuses 9 Cos. Of Infringing Patents

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 4:33 PM EDT) -- Boston Scientific Corp. is taking nine U.S., Irish and South Korean companies to task for infringing patents that cover stents and delivery services for treating digestive diseases.

The medical device manufacturer filed a complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, contending it has suffered damages because of endoscopy products that those companies have made, imported or sold that bear a close resemblance to its own line of such devices, including the WallFlex stent.
