9th Circ. Says Dollar Tree Isn't Successor In FMLA Suit

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 3:41 PM EDT) -- Ruling for the first time on the definition of a “successor-in-interest” under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit found that Dollar Tree Stores Inc. was not the successor to a bankrupt company from which it purchased a leasehold.
