Pollution Suit Against RRI Energy Unit Gets New Life

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 3:01 PM EDT) -- PennEnvironment and the Sierra Club have won their bid to reopen a suit alleging an RRI Energy Inc. unit discharged illegal levels of pollutants from a coal-fired power plant into Pennsylvania's Conemaugh River, convincing a federal judge that her decision to nix the suit was “clearly wrong.”
