The EFCA Is More Than A Misleading Name

Law360 (March 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The House of Representatives passed the Employee Free Choice Act on March 1, 2007 by a vote of 241-185. The Act soon will be introduced in the Senate, where considerable debate is expected.

The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives on February 5, 2007, would amend the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to change dramatically the world of both union organizing and bargaining over first time labor agreements.
