SG Asked To Weigh In On States' Water Dispute

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 1:54 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court asked the solicitor general Monday to weigh in on a dispute over a water use agreement between Kansas and Nebraska that would require the court to exercise its original jurisdiction in hearing the case.

The dispute centers around a water agreement between Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado over the allotment of water use from the Republican River, which runs through all three states.
