NLRB Fast-Tracks Injunction Bids In Discharge Cases

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 6:05 PM EDT) -- The National Labor Relations Board is placing a new emphasis on seeking federal court injunctions to reinstate employees who are fired in the midst of union organizing campaigns until the unfair labor charges are resolved.

NLRB acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon announced Thursday that he is streamlining the process for seeking an injunction under Section 10(j) of the National Labor Relations Act so that employee efforts to unionize aren't prematurely stifled.
