EPA Unveils Sustainable Water Infrastructure Plan

Law360, New York (October 5, 2010, 4:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued a new policy aimed at promoting sustainable infrastructure within the water sector, part of the agency’s broader efforts to improve treatment and protection of U.S. waterways.

The Clean Water and Drinking Water Infrastructure Sustainability Policy lays out a plan by which the EPA will work with states and water systems to bolster the sustainability of water and wastewater infrastructure in the U.S., the EPA announced Monday.
