Lerach Coughlin Tops Settlements In 2006

Law360, New York (March 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The law firm Lerach Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP topped its rivals in 2006 by penning 30 settlements worth more than $7.3 billion for its clients, according to a report released Tuesday by a corporate governance group.

The report, issued by Institutional Shareholder Services, said the bulk of the firm’s winnings were gleaned from $6.6 billion in deals with several investment banks over Enron-related disputes that were finalized in 2006.
