Tougher EPA Kept Enviro Attys Busy In 3rd Quarter

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The surge in environmental litigation that began shortly after the Deepwater Horizon disaster has continued, driven up from the previous year by a double whammy of busy environmental groups and a tougher U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The third quarter of 2010 saw 44 percent more environmental suits filed in federal court than the same quarter in 2009, according to a Law360 analysis.
