Philips Fails To Further Split Oximeter IP, Antitrust Fight

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 2:54 PM EDT) -- The federal judge who split the pulse oximeter patent and antitrust dispute between Masimo Corp. and Philips Electronics North America Corp. into two parts in March has denied Philips' request to further slice the suit to allow for a separate trial on the issue of patent damages.
