Abercrombie Sues JCPenney Over T-Shirt Designs

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 2:29 PM EDT) -- Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has accused J.C. Penney Co. Inc. and one of its suppliers of selling T-shirts that infringe Abercrombie's copyrighted designs.

According to the complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, wholesaler Seena International Inc. created the allegedly infringing shirts for its Ditch Plains brand. The shirts are in turn sold by J.C. Penney and retailer R.A.G. Inc., the suit says.
