Ex-Wang Hartmann Atty Calls Firm's IP Suit Ridiculous

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 3:42 PM EDT) -- An ex-attorney for Wang Hartmann Gibbs & Cauley PLC refuted on Monday its claims that he infringed its trademark and operated a stealth U.K. branch of the California-based firm, saying he started the firm with Wang Hartmann's blessing.

Jason B. Witten called the allegations in Wang Hartmann's complaint, filed Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, “ridiculous lies,” telling Law360 he had an agreement with Wang Hartmann's Jeffrey Wang to open a U.K. office of the California-based firm.
