ConocoPhillips, Sasol Ink $16M EPA Settlement

Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 1:06 PM EDT) -- ConocoPhillips Co. and Sasol North America Inc. have agreed to fork over roughly $16 million to clean up the Calcasieu Estuary Superfund site in Louisiana and head off litigation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency over the companies’ hazardous waste.
