US Asks Judge To Toss 'Moot' Drill Ban Claims

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 1:32 PM EDT) -- The Obama administration has asked a federal judge to toss part of Ensco Offshore Co.'s lawsuit challenging the government's ban on deepwater drilling, arguing that two of the suit's claims are moot now that the moratorium is no longer in place.
