Zurich, Munich Re Units End Fight Over $8.5M In Claims

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 3:44 PM EDT) -- An affiliate of Zurich Financial Services Ltd. has agreed to drop a lawsuit claiming a Munich Re unit failed to chip in fairly for coverage paid on more than $8.5 million in accident claims against a garbage hauler.

Judge Federico A. Moreno of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida agreed Tuesday to dismiss Zurich affiliate American Guarantee and Liability Insurance Co.'s case against American Alternative Insurance Corp. at the parties' joint request.
