Taiwan Semi Files ITC Complaint Vs. Mainland Rival Over Chip Patents

Law360, New York (August 20, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Taiwan Semiconductor has filed an unfair import complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), seeking a probe of a mainland rival already targeted in a trade-secret lawsuit in California.

According to ITC records, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Ltd., TSMC North America, and WaferTech L.L.V. filed a " Section 337" unfair import complaint against "certain semiconductor devices and products containing same."
