FTC Seeks Quick Release of ProMedica Deal Docs

Law360, New York (October 15, 2010, 3:33 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission has filed an emergency petition with an Ohio federal court seeking to force ProMedica Health System Inc. to turn over more information about its completed acquisition of St. Luke's Hospital by Thursday so the agency can complete an antitrust probe into the deal.

In a petition filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the FTC said it was seeking additional information related to the hospital merger transaction before a so-called hold-separate agreement expires Oct. 30....
