AWA Pilots Lose Bid For Relief In Seniority Fight

Law360, New York (October 15, 2010, 6:59 PM EDT) -- Former America West Airlines pilots have lost a last-ditch bid to revive a breach of contract suit against their union over seniority issues stemming from US Airways Inc.'s purchase of AWA, with a district court ruling that reviving the spat would violate an appeals court's unconditional mandate to dismiss the case.
