CIT Slams Ford Bid To Revive $6M Jaguar Duties Suit

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 11:37 AM EDT) -- Calling Ford Motor Co.'s latest filing disingenuous, a federal judge has refused to reconsider his July dismissal of the automaker's $6 million suit seeking refunds for 10 shipments of Jaguar-brand cars imported into the U.S. in 2005 and 2006.

None of the Dearborn, Mich.-based auto giant's arguments justified granting reconsideration, Judge Gregory W. Carman of the U.S. Court for International Trade said Friday in a four-page ruling.
