High Court Won't Let Anadarko Join States' River Fight

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 2:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court denied Anadarko Petroleum Corp.'s bid to dive into Montana's water rights fight against Wyoming on Monday, keeping the oil and gas giant from intervening in the suit accusing Wyoming of violating an interstate water compact by refusing to slow its consumption of water from two Yellowstone River tributaries.
