Medimmune Sues Sun Pharma Over Plans For Ethyol Generic

Law360 (August 23, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medimmune Oncology has sued Indian generic maker Sun Pharmaceuticals over its plans to make a generic version of the cancer-related drug Ethyol (amifostine).

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, accused the Indian drug maker of patent infringement and seeks a preliminary and permanent injunction barring the company from making Ethyol.
