8th Circ. Affirms City's Win In Suit By Fired Official

Law360, New York (October 21, 2010, 12:45 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed the dismissal of a retaliation suit against Omaha, Neb., by a former public official who claimed the city violated federal law when it fired her for publishing a report critical of the police department's treatment of blacks.
