Teller Sues KeyBank For Negligence

Law360, New York (March 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former bank teller at KeyBank has sued the company after she was robbed at gunpoint three times over a four-year period.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in Summit County Common Pleas Court in Ohio, Adrienne Griffin alleged that the bank was negligent for failing to bring in security guards or take any security measures whatsoever after each of the robberies.

She is seeking in excess of $25,000 for each of the three negligence claims brought, with an exact amount to be determined at trial....
