Greenberg To Rep Special Panel In Del. Diocese Ch. 11

Law360, New York (October 21, 2010, 7:16 PM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge cleared Greenberg Traurig LLP on Thursday to represent the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington’s official committee of lay employees, despite the objections of unsecured creditors that claimed the committee itself was unnecessary.

Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware signed off on a retention motion filed by the special committee — which represents employees of Catholic schools associated with the debtor.
