Judge Tweaks Evidence Standard In Lloyd's Case

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 2:38 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied most of Lloyd's of London's bid for reconsideration in its dispute with Teck Metals Ltd. over coverage for the alleged contamination of a lake in Washington state, shutting down the insurer's arguments on three previous rulings but agreeing to tweak the court's standard for the admission of extrinsic evidence in the suit.
