Litigation Spending To Keep Ticking Upward In 2011

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 6:22 PM EDT) -- While corporate legal spending is expected to level off in 2011, in-house attorneys project some growth in litigation and class action spending, a new report on corporate legal spending says.

Spending on litigation is expected to increase by 1.9 percent in 2011 compared with 2010, and class action spending is expected to grow 2.1 percent over the same period, according to the Premium Practices Forecast 2011, released Monday by The BTI Consulting Group Inc. (Wellesley, Mass.).
