Environmental Spending To Bounce Back In 2011

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 6:55 PM EDT) -- Corporate spending on outside environmental attorneys is expected to outpace the legal services market's growth for the first time in five years, a new report on corporate legal spending says.

Corporate counsel are expected to spend 2.9 percent more on environmental work in 2011 than they did in 2010, as more stringent and heavily enforced regulations force companies into cleanups, according to the Premium Practices Forecast 2011, released Monday by The BTI Consulting Group Inc. (Wellesley, Mass.).
