IP Spending To Fall In 2011 In Wake Of Big Jump

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Spending on intellectual property legal services will dip in 2011 after an unexpectedly strong 2010, a new report on corporate legal spending says.

Spending on general IP work is expected to fall 1.1 percent in 2011 compared with 2010, while IP litigation spending is expected to drop 2.5 percent, according to the Premium Practices Forecast 2011, released Monday by The BTI Consulting Group Inc. (Wellesley, Mass.).
