First Wind Prepares IPO Of Up To $276M

Law360, New York (October 27, 2010, 3:38 PM EDT) -- Wind energy developer First Wind Holdings Inc. on Wednesday unveiled plans to raise up to $276 million in an initial public offering of its common stock, aiming to pay down debt and fund capital expenditures.

The IPO, revealed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, would price 12 million class A shares at between $18 and $20 apiece. First Wind previously estimated its price range at between $24 and $26 per share, which would have set the IPO at about $312 million....
