8th Circ. Nixes Beer Drinkers' Appeal Over InBev Merger

Law360, New York (October 27, 2010, 3:08 PM EDT) -- A group of Missouri consumers who filed an antitrust suit to block the $52 billion merger of InBev NV/SA and Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. may be crying in its beer after a federal appeals court rejected its challenge to the dismissal of its suit Wednesday, but one of the group's attorneys told Law360 it would keep pursuing the case.
