FERC Wants Enron Advisors, Lawyers Suspended

Law360, New York (March 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Certain Enron Corp. lawyers and witnesses willfully gave misleading evidence in the ongoing Enron Corp. settlement case before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and ought to be suspended, a FERC judge said on Tuesday.

FERC Administrative Law Judge Carmen A. Cintron accused economist Dr. Jan Paul Acton, business consultants Charles River Associates and Enron’s attorneys of filing “documents with the Commission which had been altered to eliminate relevant information.”
