Ex-Execs Indicted In Katrina Air Cargo Price-Fixing Plot

Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 1:14 PM EDT) -- A Florida grand jury has indicted four former air cargo airline executives for conspiring to fix fuel surcharges on service from the U.S. to Latin America after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Each of the four men are charged with one count of conspiracy to restrain trade for allegedly agreeing to fix surcharges for air cargo shipping from the U.S. to South and Central America from late September 2005 until at least November of that year, according to the indictment filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court...
