9th Circ. Nixes Skadden Subpoena In Quellos Case

Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 7:32 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Friday overturned a subpoena forcing Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP to disclose documents from work it did for investment firm Quellos Group LLC, whose founder perpetrated a tax shelter fraud that allowed clients to avoid more than $240 million in taxes.
