Davis Polk Reps Oracle In $1B ATG Purchase

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 12:31 PM EDT) -- Oracle Corp. agreed Tuesday to pay about $1 billion for Art Technology Group Inc. in a cash merger that will add the Massachusetts company's e-commerce software to Oracle's stable of of business applications.

The deal calls for Oracle to pay $6 per share of ATG and is expected to close early next year pending stockholder and regulatory approval, the companies said.
