Insurer Sues Gallagher Sharp For Alleged Malpractice

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 12:47 PM EDT) -- Carolina Casualty Insurance Co. has filed a legal malpractice suit against Gallagher Sharp, which allegedly blew the defense of a malpractice suit against another firm by writing an unenforceable settlement.

Carolina Casualty's complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, also names as defendants two Gallagher partners: Robert Eddy, who heads Gallagher's western Ohio office, and Alton Stephens, who manages Gallagher's business and employment practice group.
