Oracle, SAP Face Off Over Infringement Damages

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Lawyers for Oracle International Corp. asked a federal jury Tuesday to slap SAP AG with billions of dollars in damages for contributory infringement of software copyrights, while counsel for the business software provider — which has admitted liability — claimed the amount should be in the tens of millions at most.
