Swiss Fine Window Fittings Cos. $8M For Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (November 4, 2010, 12:56 PM EDT) -- Switzerland's competition watchdog fined four window fittings manufacturers, including Paul Koch AG, more than 7.6 million Swiss francs ($7.9 million) Thursday for allegedly agreeing to fix prices for their products.

The Swiss Competition Commission's fines — which also targeted Siegenia-Aubi AG, SFS Unimarket AG and Aug. Winkhaus GmbH & Co. KG — come as the European Commission is running its own investigation into the alleged cartel in the window mountings industry.
