Italian Food Distributors Face Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 4:17 PM EST) -- Italy's antitrust regulator has launched an investigation into large-scale organized food distribution in the country, focusing on the contractual dynamics of the increasingly concentrated industry.

The Italian Antitrust Authority said Saturday it would examine the degree of competition between companies involved in large-scale food distribution to mass retailers.
